How do you make the world a better place? It\u2019s just one big question being asked in Reform<\/em> this issue.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Reform<\/em> team is looking for stories about local actions, projects, campaigns and passions that make their own contribution to the United Nations\u2019 international Sustainable Development Goals. How are we, in our local areas, part of the Big Picture?<\/p>\n

In this month\u2019s interview, Kevin Snyman asks another big question. How can we design a world that doesn\u2019t depend on money? Money creates divide and poverty, and is counter to the Gospel of Jesus, he says.<\/p>\n

And a third question. What should ministers wear? Four contributors debate the dos and don\u2019ts of \u201cdog collars\u201d and other clerical garb \u2013 it\u2019s more complicated than you might think.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the URC\u2019s Safeguarding Lead says biblical values have their place in the Church\u2019s safeguarding policy. We also hear reports from two inspiring conferences: Junction 25, a unique space for 18-25-year-olds to discuss how faith works itself out in their lives; and Conversations at the Crossroads, which looked at how the URC builds new communities.<\/p>\n
